Jeff "J-Dawg" Brooks
Jeff "J-Dawg" Brooks debuted with HCW at October 2002's Hardkore & Confused event. He suffered a loss
to ECW original "The Extreme Shah" Hack Meyers. Brooks followed up that appearance by wrestling Jimmy
Rave at January 2003's Hardkore Returns event. The two of them wrestled an amazing technical match
that ended up a draw, and left fans chanting for "five more minutes."
Brooks' next outing with HCW was at The Third Annual Incredible 8 in 2004, where he faced off against
Jimmy Rave once again - in opening round competition. After another hard-fought contest, refereed by
Brooks' own father, Rave claimed a victory over Brooks. Later that night Brooks returned to action,
teaming with Nick Mayberry to help him regain his Hardcore Title against The Power Company Twinz.
This was HCW's first ever sanctioned tag team match.
After that, Brooks took part in The Fourth Annual Incredible 8 Tournament in 2006. There he defeated
longtime rival "Soulman" Alex G. in an impressive opening round match, before he fell victim to WWE
Superstar Aaron "Jesus" Aguilera in the second round.
Jeff "J-Dawg" Brooks is a second generation wrestler, being the son of Florida legend Rusty Brooks.
Beginning at a young age, Brooks captured numerous heavyweight, tag team, light-heavyweight and
international championships in various promotions throughout Florida. With matches against the likes
of his father Rusty Brooks, Gangrel, Jimmy Rave, Hack Meyers, Aaron Aguilera, Billy Fives, Anthony
"Snot Dudley" Michaels (of ECW) & many others, he's proven himself to be a top-notch performer,
capable of adapting to any style.
